Is there really anything else to say? It's a greeting thread, so I'm not sure how long to really make this. ...Really, I'm running out of things to say... ...and thus will parrot the 'stumped on what to say' thread. HOW ORIGINAL.

My username is Alastor MacBatman (or just plain Alastor, or Al). It's an old webhandle of mine from back when the TwilightSucks message board was still incredibly active, and I was part of a Viewtiful Joe/Devil May Cry fan group. The 'MacBatman' was a recent addition from a Cracked article.

A friend linked me here, actually! Mostly for to see if I was interested in her game, Viva La Revolution.

>3) How long have you roleplayed on forums or chat? On what sites? Did you start with tabletop games or such?
'Officially', I say I started RPing in 2009, after wandering into the RP board on TwilightSucks. I started much earlier than that, but uhhh was younger and stupider, and don't talk about that time. I have since became somewhat less bad at RPing.

>4) In coming to RPG, what've you been looking for specifically? A new home for roleplay? Better roleplay?
uhhhh... Becoming less bad at writing. also more players

>5) What kinds of roleplay are you interested in? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Go in-depth about it if you want.
uhhh that's hard to say. As a rule of thumb, I like Fantasy and Sci-fi. Mecha are always a good thing too. Having superheroes and magical girls is also nice.

>6) What're your hobbies? Do you collect rocks or mount insects?
Well, beyond writing, I enjoy reading comics/manga, watching cartoons and anime, tokusatsu, and videogames. I absolutely love mecha/giant robots and the works of Crazy British Hobo Comic Writer Alan Moore.

>7) What's something you're good at besides writing? Maybe you're on the volleyball team or you're a quick learner? Maybe you play the flute or can fold up chairs amazingly fast? xD
Does having a borderline encyclopedic knowledge of anime robots count? No? Then I'm good at being goddamn nerd.
